Conference Information
The Tribomechadynamics 2019 Conference was held July 31st through August 2nd, 2019 at Rice University. At this inaugural conference, 80 researchers from across the world gathered to see 39 talks. Information about the conference can be found via these links:
Conference Venue
Tribomechadynamics 2019 was held at Rice University, in Houston, Texas. Houston is home to two major airports that are both approximately a half hour ride from the university area – Hobby Airport serves domestic flights primarily (see Southwest Airlines), and Bush Airport serves both domestic and international flights with direct connections to many cities in Europe and Asia.
Rice University is a small, private college in the middle of the medical center area of Houston. There are multiple hotels adjacent to campus that are within walking distance of the conference venue. Additionally, there is an on campus summer conference service for those that do not mind staying in the residential colleges.
